The Rating Scale

How I rate books. Five tiers, no mercy, all honesty.

I don't use a numerical score in a vacuum. Every rating I give maps to a specific feeling — something that captures where a book actually landed with me. Here's the full breakdown so you know exactly what you're getting when I review something.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐  5 Stars
Certified Banger

I was bout it bout it. It had everything I wanted: great story, solid writing, and it stuck with me. I'd recommend it to anyone and might even read it again.

Straight Heat

This one was really good. I enjoyed it a lot. A couple of small things here and there, but nothing that ruined the experience. Definitely worth checking out.

⭐⭐⭐  3 Stars
Valid

Pretty good overall. Nothing mind-blowing, but I liked it enough to finish. If you're into this type of story, you'll probably enjoy it too.

⭐⭐  2 Stars
Unseasoned

It was… bland. I didn't hate it, but it didn't wow me either. I finished it, but it had no spice and just didn't stick. Probably wouldn't recommend unless someone's really curious.

Respectfully, Nah

This one just wasn't for me. I tried, but it didn't click — maybe the writing, maybe the plot, maybe just not my vibe. No hard feelings, but I wouldn't recommend it.

Two Pack of Ass

Straight to the garbage. Disrespectful to my time. Do not read this.
